In-Person Sessions
What to Expect:
At Mindful Lotus, we want you feel as comfortable as possible during what may be a very difficult time in your life. With that in mind, we have made every effort to create a welcoming and peaceful environment for individuals, couples, and families who are seeking assistance with the struggles in their lives.
If you arrive early for your session, please make yourself comfortable in the waiting room. While you wait, please use the time to relax and make the transition away from your daily activities. Some clients have found it helpful to journal or spend a few moments reflecting on the thoughts, feelings, questions and experiences they may wish to bring to their session. Your therapist will meet you in the waiting room at the time of your session and walk you to the counselling room. At the end of each session, payment is taken, a receipt is issued, and you may schedule your next appointment directly with your therapist or by using the online booking portal.
At this time there are no elevators available in the building and you will be required to use the stairs. If mobility is a concern for you, please consider our TeleHealth Services. Additionally, if you are attending an evening (after 8 pm) or weekend appointment, please use the doorbell at the front entrance so your therapist can buzz you in. If you experience any difficulties entering the building, please contact your therapist directly.
